Terms of Service

These terms describe how FixyCome works and each side's responsibilities. This is a working document written for the FixyCome pilot; it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer qualified in Pakistan, and will be finalised before general release. By using FixyCome you agree to the terms as they stand when you sign up.

1. What FixyCome is — and is not

FixyCome is a marketplace that introduces customers to independent service professionals. We provide the platform where jobs are posted, bids are made, and messages are exchanged.

FixyCome does not employ professionals. Professionals are independent contractors who set their own prices, decide which jobs to take, and control how they carry out their work. FixyCome does not perform the work, supervise it, or guarantee its outcome, and is not an insurer. The agreement for any service is directly between the customer and the professional.

2. Payment is in cash, and directly between you

Payment for a job is made in cash, directly from the customer to the professional, at an amount the two of you agree. FixyCome does not process, hold, or handle payment for the work, and does not take a cut of the job price from the customer.

3. Commission and professional deposits

FixyCome may charge professionals a commission or require a small refundable deposit to take part, as a way of keeping conduct fair and discouraging no-shows. Any such amounts, and the rules for refunding a deposit, are shown to professionals before they apply.

4. Your obligations as a customer

Describe your job honestly, be available at the time you agree, and treat the professional with respect. Pay the agreed amount in cash once the work is done as described. Do not use FixyCome to arrange anything unlawful.

5. Your obligations as a professional

Only bid on work you are able and qualified to do, quote a fair and honest price, and carry out the work to a reasonable standard. Turn up when you say you will, and behave professionally and safely in a customer's home.

6. Disputes — how they are handled

If a job goes wrong, either side can raise a dispute through the app and provide evidence. FixyCome reviews the information from both sides and may make a decision to help resolve the matter within the platform. FixyCome's role is to mediate in good faith; it cannot compel payment, refunds, or repairs, and its decision does not replace your legal rights.

7. Strikes, suspension, and removal

Behaviour that breaks these terms — repeated no-shows, dishonesty, abuse, or unsafe conduct — can lead to a strike, a temporary suspension, or removal from FixyCome. Serious cases may result in immediate removal.

8. Damage, injury, and loss

Because the work is carried out by an independent professional under a direct agreement with the customer, any damage, injury, or loss arising from a job is a matter between the customer and the professional. FixyCome does not underwrite or insure against it. We encourage both sides to agree expectations clearly before work begins.

9. Safety

Take sensible precautions. Customers should confirm who they are letting into their home; professionals should decline work that is unsafe to perform. Report any conduct that makes you feel unsafe through the app.

10. Reviews and conduct

Reviews must be honest and based on a real job. Do not post abusive, misleading, or retaliatory reviews. FixyCome may remove content that breaks these rules.

11. Your data

We collect and use your information to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Identity information such as a CNIC, where required inside the app, is stored securely and is never shown publicly or shared with other users. It is never requested through the public beta application.

12. Pilot status and changes

FixyCome is in an early pilot. Features may change, and these terms may be updated as the product develops.
